10 September 2000: D Squadron 22 SAS conducting the rescue of the hostages held by the rebel West Side Boys at Gberi Bana, Sierra Leone. At first light, the troopers 'fast-rope' from the hovering Chinook helicopter of 7 Squadron RAF and rush to engage the rebels in the various small buildings.
