Highland Infantry Territorials on patrol in Afghanistan during Operation FINGAL
2003: When I was in Kabul in February, I went on foot and mobile patrols from our base at Camp Souter. This scene depicts a patrol with soldiers of the 51st Highland Regiment in the maze of alleys in the suburbs. There was much snow on the ground, but in the sunshine, weighed down by body armour and equipment, patrolling was hot work.
